A moment to recognize our community
We acknowledge Supervisor Moore’s substantial lead in the reported results and thank both candidates for participating in the democratic process and making their cases to residents.
We also thank everyone who voted, attended or watched candidate forums, raised questions, and took an interest in the decisions that affect Hartwick.
Looking ahead
Election Day is one part of local democracy. The work of town government continues afterward, and residents have an important role in following public decisions and asking informed questions.
Hartwick faces continuing questions about financial management, transparency, public records, and the effectiveness of its Town Board. Those matters deserve careful examination, cooperation where possible, and respectful disagreement when views differ.
Hartwick Election Facts will continue to examine public records, explain local decisions, and support informed civic participation regardless of who holds office.
