Where and When to Vote in Hartwick: 2026 General Election Guide

Hartwick residents can vote in the November 3, 2026 general election on Election Day or during the nine-day early-voting period. The Otsego County Board of Elections publishes the locations and schedules below.

Election Day: Tuesday, November 3

Polls are open 6 a.m.–9 p.m.

Hartwick polling place: Town Office Building, 103 Town Drive, Hartwick, NY, according to the county’s 2026 polling-place list. Verify your assigned location and registration using the New York State voter lookup.

Early Voting: October 24–November 1

Registered Otsego County voters may vote at either of the following county early-voting locations; these are different from Hartwick’s Election Day site.

Meadows Office Complex — 140 County Highway 33W, Cooperstown, NY
Brenner Building at Neahwa Park — 24 Bertus Lauren Drive, Oneonta, NY

Early-voting hours at both locations:

Saturday, October 24 through Monday, October 26: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. each day
Tuesday, October 27: noon–8 p.m.
Wednesday, October 28: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Thursday, October 29: noon–8 p.m.
Friday, October 30 through Sunday, November 1: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. each day

Voting by Mail

New York offers early mail ballots to registered voters and absentee ballots for qualifying circumstances. For the November 3 election, the county lists October 24 as the last day to receive applications submitted by mail and November 2 as the final day to apply in person. Voters who already have ballots should review the state’s return deadlines and instructions rather than assuming that putting a ballot in a mailbox on Election Day guarantees a timely postmark.
